Me after a long night of work. I figured I needed a new picture of myself.

I got bored...

socks!

I re-learned how to knit over the summer due to boredom, and bought a few books with some fun patterns. Truth be told, the only thing I've managed to make out of the books are two hats, both of which are WAY too small for me.

Well, I decided that I wanted to make some socks. I had know idea how to read the directions, and one of the blackjack dealers at work suggested going to this local yarn store (LYS) because the lady who runs it could teach me how to make socks. So here they are, after a couple of months' work - my first pair of socks!!

Here is the first one I made...the cuff looks a little weird, and it's a little saggy.

Here's the second one I just finished, and I did the cuff's ribbing throughout the whole leg of the sock, and they seem to stay up much better.

Gillette, weddings, camping, and more!

Marty, the little bunny I crocheted while in Gillete at the end of July.

Lacey's fabulous dress, although I was trying to get a picture of the bride...

Lacey and Brett after Sara's wedding.

Brett and Scott after the wedding.

The cutest wedding cupcakes evar.

A very intense discussion at the bar.

Scott and me at the bar.

And a little air guitar.

Our humble abode whilst camping in the Big Horn Mountains.

Aaron trying to figure out his lantern.

Still trying to figure that thing out...

Our front yard during our camping trip in the Big Horns.

It's soup! Dinner time in the mountains.

Fun with cameras and the moon! The smaller, darker light near the bottom is Aaron's lantern, after coming back from the restroom in the darkness.

Moosey! (He's really far away, sorry!)

Herd of sheep on the run next door to our second camping spot.

Aaron next to the campfire our last night in the mountains.

An afghan made of granny squares that needs to be stitched together. It took me all summer to crochet this bad boy.

new stuff

Well, it's been forever and a day since I added something new to the photo blog, so here goes.
We'll have a mixture of graduation pictures, snow pictures, bent up car pictures, and other oddities.

I just wanted a nice family picture...but nooooo, someone *ahem ASHLEY ahem* didn't want to cooperate...

so that's what happens.

Meh, that's all I feel like putting up for now. Enjoy!

Some more money I've found

I know I dont' post on here very often, and it's usually not interesting...it's mostly just as a reference page so I can link someone over here instead of having to upload a file to them. :) Here's some old money I've been finding over the last few weeks.

The first two pictures are the reverse and obverse of a 1943 wartime nickel. Notice the S above Monticello. That indicates that it is a wartime nickel.

The third photo is of all my "Barr notes," signed by Joseph W. Barr, who was only Secretary of the Treasury for a few months, therefore there weren't a lot of bills printed with his name on it, also, these are 1963s, so they're 43 years old, and the average life span of a one dollar bill is only 18 months.

The next picture is of my oldest nickel, a 1940 nickel.

And the last picture is of the wheat pennies I have found since working at the casino. None of them are steel, however.

just some new pics that i took

i have some pictures of my old money that I've found, or cool serial numbers that I found, and then pictures of my new computer that came in the mail yesterday. Enjoy!

My 1963A $20 bill.

$10 bill with very low serial number.

1950B $5 bill with some weird holes in it.

The guts of my computer, splayed all over the table.

The innards of my computer being put into the case.

Testing the blue LED lights in the tower.

Pretty!

The case, all put together.
